Plain-language summary: We collect the minimum we need to run Milou and improve it. We don’t sell your personal information. Data you upload to analyze is yours, and we don’t use it to answer other people’s questions.

• Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep the product working and to understand aggregate usage. Our website uses Google Analytics; you can opt out via your browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the product and answer your questions.
• To communicate with you about your account, demos, and support requests.
• To analyze usage in aggregate so we can make Milou better.

Data and files you upload to analyze are used to answer your questions. We do not sell them, and we do not use the contents of your uploads to answer other users’ questions. Enterprise customers can run Milou in hosted, private-cloud, or on-premise configurations so their data stays within their own environment.

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate Milou (for example, hosting and analytics), under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

8. Your choices and rights

Milou is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
